Nugget # Three

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Eph. 6:18

Yes, yes I know. I started with the end of the verse instead of the beginning. What we have to learn is very important before we look at the beginning. It coincides with what we have learned already in Nuggets Of Gold One and Two. Believe it or not I want to look at two words. They are small but mighty in this verse. These two words are ALL and ALWAYS.

ALWAYS - is taken from three Greek words

First:- EN denotes a fixed position (in place, time or state) and (by implication) instrumentally (medially or constructively). Ok. In English this only means, in a normal or productive way set a fixed place, fixed time and fixed position.

Second:- PAS meaning all, all manner of, all means, any, anyone, every, everyone, every way, the whole, (daily and thoroughly).

Third:- KAIROS meaning an occasion (a set time or proper time), opportunity, convenient season, due season, due time, short time, a while.

Yes, I know. It is all Greek to you, like it was to me, but after much meditation on the verse and Greek meanings I realized something and it set me free from what is normally taught. Some people are morning people and some are night people. We must realize we are all different. Hahahaha God did. He made us that way. I just love Him.

Set a convenient, standard place and time for you to pray daily. Whether it is a long time or short time, just do it and it must be thorough and complete. In all forms and ways of prayer (praise, song, reading scripture like the psalms, in the Spirit, in thanksgiving, begging and pleading etc.) we can communicate with our God. It also means to do it at every opportunity and every time we get a chance to. We should communicate with our Daddy whenever we can. That is how we get to know Him.

Nugget # Four

Finally, my brethern, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Eph.6:10,11

Wow. What a high standing order. To be strong in the Lord is one thing, but to be in the power of His might is another.

What this means is that we need to enable or empower ourselves to operate with the same vigorous force or authority of God's own ability and forcefulness. Now that is even a bigger wowowowowow. I do not want to go into this part to much but what I want you to know is what we have to do to get there and it is possible. All things are possible for those who love the Lord.

The question most asked by a Christian is, "Why does prayer work one time and never seems to work other times?" Down through the ages this question has been asked many times. I pray that through this study you will find the answers. The answers will lie deep within you. You will have to search truthfully and be honest with yourself. If your willing, lets go on my friend.

I only ask you to bear with me as we learn how to properly communicate with our Daddy and the attitude we need to have in order to enter into His presence. This has been my goal in life. To enter into His presence as they did in in Solomon's time. God's train filled the temple. I desire His glory cloud around me, and I aim to experience it not just once but every time I enter His presence. Laugh if you will or lets do it together.

In this day and age when His coming is so close we need to fill our vessels and seek Him with all our heart, mind, and might. I want more of Him. Do you?
